  • Arm and x86 versions?!?!! This is new to me…

  • Shawn

ARM is the different technology for tablets and smartphones other than x86/x64 processors that have form the basis of have been the basis of computers traditionally. Both differ on the basis of software compatibility as they have entirely different and incompatible architectures. ARM is the good choice for battery operated devices as for years it has had a significant advantage of power consumption.
So, these versions depend upon the CPU architecture. ARM is most commonly used CPU architecture in mobiles and smartphones.
    Hope you understood! :)

How do you tell what “your” device is ? Say a N6 ?

      • BlahBlahDoo

All Snapdragon proccesors, including the 805 in your N6, are based on the ARM architecture. My OnePlus One, with the 801, is also ARM.

        • Mohammad Eb

And MTK processors are ARM too…
