What’s new in Niagara Launcher v0.8.0-alpha:
• :symbols: Widget support: You can add one widget above your favorites (Niagara’s settings > Features > Add widget)
• It’s vertically resizable (hold on the widget > Resize). Horizontal resizing and centering will be added in the second alpha
• Fixed a bug in the most used algorithm and make it more precise
• Replaced a couple of icons (e.g. in Niagara’s settings)
• Large parts of Niagara’s source code have been rewritten to improve the code stability in the long term and to make adding features easier
(Widget update – alpha 2)
What’s new:
• Fixed crash that occurred after replacing a widget
• Widget can be moved (almost) all the way to the top
• Updated translations (you can submit your own at: crwd.in/niagara-launcher)
• Enhanced app suggestions
• Changing the widget’s width and alignment is still not possible yet, but you’ll be able to choose between three different modes in the future (more at the end of github.com/8bitPit/Niagara-Issues/issues/117)

Niagara Launcher is a fresh homescreen that has a clean and minimalistic ui. Due to its unique design you can open apps more quickly and use your phone with just one hand.
Cool features:
Niagara app drawer
All your apps in a neatly arranged list that is sorted alphabetically and by usage. You don’t even have to swipe to open it!
Notification previews
Read incoming messages right on your homescreen. See the full notification by swiping right. Furthermore, unwanted messages like advertising or persistent notifications are getting blocked.
Hide Apps
Preinstalled apps (often bloatware) are annoying. Simply hide them, so you have a nice and clean homescreen.
This is just the start. Folders, shortcuts and widgets will be avaible in the future.
