APK Notes:

change name to music

This release does not have a Play Store Description, so we grabbed one from version 9.3.13.A.1.1:

The Music application from Sony gives you a wonderful experience when listening to your music files. Import your music, arrange in playlists and just listen away. We optimize the sound to make it sound great and make sure little power is used, so you can listen for as long as you want.

If you have an Android Wear device, you can control your music and transfer your favorite playlists and listen with just a Bluetooth headset connected.

The Music application is only compatible with Xperia devices.

This release may come in several variants. Consult our handy FAQ to see which download is right for you.

  • Don’t work in Moto G 2013 or Moto Maxx/Droid Turbo :'(

    • Snyper

If your device is rooted, just put it in “system/app” and should work fine :)
      Otherwise, no deal…

      • Paulo Cesar Almeida

Who can I do this. My one plus is rooted, but who can I put his in system/app?

        • Snyper

Just using some kind of file explorer application, like Root Explorer, for example, and place the .apk file in the given directory.
Then set the permissions to “rw-r-r” and reboot your phone.
Well, at least this is what I’ve done on my Galaxy S II…

          • Cuptake The Boss

Not working on my rooted nexus 5. Using FX root explorer, I get the message ‘Error Copying file could not be read’.

          • Snyper

Maybe the FX Explorer can’t do the operation due read/write permissions, who knows…
I have both ES File Explorer and Root Explorer here. With the first one I can’t do it, but with the second works fine for me. Don’t ask me why haha! Try with another app then…

          • Pedro Lima

            I did what u said, but doesn’t work in my moto g 2013 xt1033 :(

          • Usssyyyy

The nexus 5 has low system space, delete a system app and try again

      • I can’t root my smartphone, but thanks :)

  • alfreduran

Not only rooted devices, this app only works in Xperia devices. However I still have the old version and works fine in my Nexus 5 D820 32Gb (no rooted) with Android 5.1. Regards!

  • Dann

Just put on system/app with root of course, working on Moto x 2013 4.4.4 :)

  • William

Nah, it doesn’t work, even if we push it to /system/app with the right permissions :( LG G2

    • Snyper

Maybe it’s the system version you’re using then?
I faced some problems when I tried to make this with the version 8.5.A.3.3…
The app crashed when was about to open, but curiously was successful with Music 9.0 and above.
It might doesn’t work on some devices even with this method…
