On my Samsung S8 plus I get an error “failed to load cards”

Weird, working fine here (T-Mobile model).

This happened with mine a couple of times. Try clearing all the cache in the Google app. This should help.

Cleaning apps are absolutely pointless! Do you really think APK Mirror would allow infected files to be uploaded?

    Greetings all,

Oneplus 3T user with Android N (7.1.1) unrooted + Nova Launcher Prime

Is it possible that “Google Companion” doesn’t support the updated “Google feed / Now” app look & feel?

    My steps
    – Uninstall “Google Companion”
    – Clear cache and restart “Nova”
    – Clear cache, all data and disable “Google app”
    – Clear data “Google Play Services”
    – Clear all storage cache and reboot device
    – Update “Google App”
    – Set up “Google App” and “Google Play Services”

    * At this point the “Google App” runs smoothly with the new “look & feel” and functions *

    – Install “Google Now Companion”
    – Enable “Google Now” from Nova settings
    – Restart “Nova”

    * At this point the “Google Feed / Now” reverts to the old “Look & Feel” and functions, both at “Nova Scroll” and “Google App” itself *

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks in advance.
