Check out what's new in this version:
- Need a ride ASAP? You don’t have to wait any longer. Join a ride that’s already available and close to your desired pickup and drop-off spots.
- Now, you can improve your chances of getting a ride. Just walk to a nearby spot that’s already on the driver's route. It’s up to you – you choose how far you’re willing to walk.
- New "I arrived" button: With a tap, your driver knows that you arrived at the pickup spot
- Minor bug fixes and improvements

About Waze Rider - Get Carpool Rides

First 2 rides are FREE! Get the most convenient and affordable ride to work everyday. We connect you to fellow commuters already driving with Waze. Enjoy a seamless ride on the fastest route and save money by just pitching in for gas!

How does it work?
Ask for a ride in advance and we’ll notify you when a Wazer along your route has offered to pick you up.

How much does it cost?
You just help cover the cost of gas in exchange for a ride!

Who’s driving?
Your driver is an everyday Wazer with a similar commute to yours, who would be taking the trip anyway. Pairing up means one less car on the road!

NOTE: This service is currently available to users in the Bay Area and Israel. If you're not in one of these areas, keep Waze Rider installed and we’ll notify you as soon as it becomes available in your area!
