What's new in Flitsmeister 9.3

Yes! Time for some good news for our users once again. No April fool’s joke this year, because we absolutely have no time for jokes! You see, there is some good stuff coming this month that we all worked very hard for. This release primarily contains bug fixes and we are saving the best for the next update. Be patient a little longer and keep an eye on our socials! Once you have taken care of this update, obviously : - )

Flitsmeister saves you money on fines, warns you of traffic jams and prevents accidents. Over 1.350.000 Dutch and Belgian users activate Flitsmeister after fastening their seatbelt when they get in their cars.

By using Flitsmeister while driving, you will automatically be warned of incidents during your trip. This saves you time and money and makes you well-prepared for any unsafe situations on the road.

When you're not driving your car you can use Flitsmeister to get the latest traffic information for your route. How long does it take to get to work? Are there any speed traps on the way home? Those questions are no longer your concern. Flitsmeister has all the answers.

COMMUNITY & FLITSMEISTER EDITORS
The traffic information within the Flitsmeister app is generated mostly by our users' input. You can submit reports and correct reports of others. We improve this user generated content by using government provided data, images from camera's on the side of the road placed throughout the country and our own Flitsmeister editors.

RADIO BROADCASTING:
Flitsmeister traffic information is broadcasted daily on Q-Music, BNR Newsradio, Traffic Radio, 100%NL, Veronica, 1Limburg, Radio 10, Top Radio and SkyRadio.

BATTERY AND DATA USAGE:
Because we use GPS locations in the background, the app may have an impact on your battery consumption, just as other navigation apps do. This also applies for the data usage. Would you like more information about this? Check our FAQ on the website.

NAVIGATION
Navigation, Flitsmeister’s most in demand feature, has been available since February 2018. When plotting a route, you have the option to enable spoken instructions. We are very curious about your experiences!

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
When you end up stranded by the side of the road, you can enable roadside assistance from ANWB through our app. You do this by tapping on ‘send for roadside assistance’ in the menu in the upper left corner. This is how we make sure you get the right help.
