Hik-Connect is designed to work with devices such as DVRs, NVRs, cameras, video intercom devices, and security control panels. You can watch real-time surveillance video or play back recordings anytime, anywhere. When an alarm is triggered on your device, you can receive instant notifications through Hik-Connect.

Microphone: Used for two-way audio/intercom, access control calls, or video intercom calls.
Camera: Used to scan QR codes to add or configure devices, and to take photos for business-related image collection.
Photos and videos: Used to save, view, or share device snapshots and recordings, or to select photos/videos from the album.
Location: Used to obtain the current Wi-Fi/SSID or Wi-Fi list for device network configuration. On some Android versions, it is used for Bluetooth search.
Music and audio: Used to read, manage, save, or play custom voice, recordings, and local audio files.
Phone: Used to read the device phone status to identify SIM card status, mobile carrier, and cellular network information. This helps with network status detection, NFC/SIM-related feature checks, video service status detection, and service quality statistics.
