Use SugarSync to securely sync and back up your files, photos, music, and more on any device. We add a layer of security to all of your file syncing and storing so you can keep your digital life private and organized. Easily sync and send files from one device to another, collaborate with team members, and enjoy seamless file syncing across your devices with minimal effort.

Why SugarSync runs in the background: moving your files takes time, and you should not have to sit and watch it. When you tap Upload to send files to your account, tap Sync to bring a file back down to your device, restore a Protected Folder to an earlier date, or turn on automatic photo and video backup, SugarSync keeps that transfer running while you use other apps or lock your screen, so a large transfer is not cancelled halfway and started again from the beginning. While a transfer is running, a notification shows you what is transferring and how far along it is, and tapping it opens the transfer screen. The notification disappears as soon as the transfer finishes.

You stay in control of automatic backup. Automatic photo backup, automatic video backup, and folder sync are off until you turn them on in AutoSync Settings, where you can also limit backup to Wi-Fi, set how often it runs, and stop it from running while roaming.

Complete Data Security
SugarSync makes security a priority. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your files and data while they sync to our servers and are stored in the cloud in an encrypted format.

Android Photo Syncing
Skip using a cable to upload your Android photos. Choose the photos you want and tap Upload to send them from your Android to your computer, so all of your important memories and more stay in one secure place.

Auto-Syncing Across Devices
SugarSync makes it easy to keep all of your devices synced. You can automatically sync files across computers, devices, and platforms, and all changes made in the cloud will be automatically applied to all of your synced devices.

Flexible File Sharing
Sharing files and folders has never been easier. SugarSync lets you control how and what you want to share, whether it's a small read-only file or a large folder with editing permissions, it's up to you.

Easy Restoration
Never worry about losing your important files, photos, and documents again. Select any file in the app and tap Sync to bring it back down to your device. Our Protected Folders option lets you roll back a folder to a previous date in time so you can recover all the files in it at once.
