We've now added a screen detailing each installed app's consumption. Everybody can check what's going on in the background while the app is not in active usage.

On the results screen, you can:

■ Select a time period: the past hour, past 12 hours, past day, past week
■ See the percentage of total consumption
■ Check the ratio between active usage and background usage
■ Look at the CPU usage
■ Monitor Wi-Fi usage versus mobile data usage
■ Stop or uninstall the app

You can then decide whether to stop or uninstall the app completely. When an app is forced to stop, it remains inactive until you relaunch it. We believe this results screen will bring more transparency to device consumption and help people to extend their battery life.
